At the centre of Theodor Storm's novella is a young couple: Andrees and Maren. The two set off in search of the forgotten magical spell of the rain druid, which brings rain, fertility and “wealth” for humans and animals. This is the only way to defeat the mighty fire man. And so the pair set off with the rain druid's spell to wake her from her slumber. An adventure begins.
